Terms of Service

⚠ Draft. These terms are an initial pass written by the founders. They will be replaced by a lawyer-reviewed version before public launch (per impl plan §6 Sprint 6 dependency).
1. The service
pptSaas ("we", "us") provides an automated document-to-presentation generation tool. By creating an account or paying for a plan you ("you") agree to these terms.
2. Your content
You retain all rights to documents you upload and decks generated from them. You grant us a limited license to process, store, and display that content solely to deliver the service. We never use your content for model training or share it with anyone other than the LLM provider for the duration of a generation call.
3. Acceptable use
You may not use pptSaas to generate or store content that is illegal, infringing, defamatory, or that depicts CSAM or terror-glorifying content. We reserve the right to remove content and terminate accounts that violate this clause.
4. Plans + billing
Paid plans bill monthly or annually via Stripe. Failed payments trigger a retry email cadence at +1 day, +3 days, and +7 days; after the +7 day mark the subscription is cancelled and the account is downgraded to Free. Money-back guarantee: full refund within 30 days of your first paid invoice; after that, downgrades take effect at the end of the billing period.
5. Account deletion
Deletion is self-service from /dashboard/account with a 7-day grace window. We hard-delete database rows and R2 objects after the grace expires. You can cancel the deletion request anytime before then.
6. Liability
The service is provided "as is" without warranties. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
7. Changes
We'll email you 30 days before any material change to these terms. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
